Oil grade and brand for standard ph1

Hi guys I did a search but did not yield many results so sorry if its been asked before!

What oil do you recommend for a standard ph1 vee am I correct in thinking 5w/40 titan race/silkolene??
Or is 10w/50 better

Use the best you can afford I've always used 5w 40

I have just done an oil change. opie oils had an excellent offer on gulf competition 5w 40. Think the offer is still ongoing!

Thanks maxi I have always used silkolene/titan race which is considered a very good oil. Thanks for telling me the grade the handbook said 5w/40 but thought I would see what other are using.
