Nothing, nothing, nothing....Bang...

Ok, so recently in the mornings my V6 has started to get quite jumpy like a kangoroo again except now when you pish the accelerator there is nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing and then "boom" a god almighty bang form the exhaust and then it goes fine.....

Any ideas?

Don't think its a coil as this didn't happened when my last coil went.....the exhaust certainly didn't backfire anyway.

i had that once in a cold started afternoon, but all went fine after the - - - "boom". i would like to know why too.

Checked the engine bay yesterday and lo and behold the pipe feeding the K&N had come away therefore no cold air getting through. The engine was basically sucking in hot air form the engine bay. No wonder performance was down. The car was sooo jumpy, hesitant and basically out of breathy.....

All sorted now though! Running sweet!
