The Vee just did click, when I turned the key, sooo, starter gone, or wiring wrong.

Wanted to change the timingbelt soon anyway,
so decided to take the whole engine out to check everything out.
A nice job for the winter time.

Also a good opportunity to check those fancy japanese engine dampers from j.engine. It's always good to have some friends all over the world to be able to get those, and help to translate :D

Happened to mine identically. Reanult stealers were useless.

They had no idea why it happened. They replaced the earth on the starter and fingers crossed its been fine since. Not 100% convinced tho.

Peter :?

Found it, what I suspected, the starter engine.
Fully blocked, burned one coil section inside.
