not in the registry

if a car plaque number doesnt sahow in the registry, what does that mean? Written off? Never been any sighting of it?

It could mean any of these:

1. Car is unknown to club (most common)
2. That plaque number doesn’t exist (long story)
3. Car is known to club, but I haven’t got round to adding it yet (there’s probably about 50 of these)
4. The car is known to the club, but the details are hidden at the owner’s request (only a handful of those).

There are write offs that were crushed before we found out the plaque numbers (these fall into point 1 above).
Most write offs are known and these still show in our register.
