Not a bad little 30th pressie...

I had BC on my Evo VII, I'd never recommend them.

Nearly everyone who jumped on them when they were released had problems with wear and knocking after hardly any miles.

BC kit is for ph1 only i believe

KW great kit, transformed mine, feels v planted :approve:

Ive never changed the top mounts however, i was thinking of replacing them with the same OEM rubber ones, any thoughts?

So yeah... This happened

This is with 5mm front and 15mm rear spacers too! Looks incredible but not sure I can keep it at this height lol [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Looking good Colin :salut: it's just a tad too low at the front in my opinion, who fitted them for you by the way ?

And the most important thing - how much has it sharpened up the handling ? and is the ride a lot firmer ?

PS - Is that a Nissan GTR behind your Vee ?

Thanks Phill, I'm not sure on the height, I definately want it nose down rather than rear down as I hate that look on cars and the standard set up is lower at the front too.. But I don't want to be worrying about every bump, ramp and hump destroying my undertrays.

The tracking needs set up, my mate who fitted them has his own garage (that's his MY12 GTR) but his tracking set up won't work on cars this low. But from my rain soaked brief drive home the car is transformed already. It feels so taught (had new oem too mounts fitted at the same time) and it corners with a new found confidence and sure footedness.

When we put them on with the out of the box settings it was firm, very very firm. But we fiddled and have got it set up pretty decent now. It's not much firmer than standard and much much better damped!

Definately money very very well spent! I'd reccomend them highly!

Colin that looks amazing - makes the wheels seem bigger lol ! I put coilovers on my interim Mini cooper s (between phase 1 and phase 2 vees) and went really low but was totally impractical !! Would love this look for my vee but would again be scared of speed bumps and kerbs (car parks tend to be high so would risk damaging front bumper ) also I cant afford it [smilie=icon_cry.gif] - Colin - LOVELY JUBLEY - !!!

Thanks Craig. Yeah it looks incredible but I can't keep it this height if it will stop me enjoying the drive, I'll chew it over for the next few days and can easily raise them 10mm :approve:

Looking good Colin - trust you will have it set up properly for the Lakes Drive?

I would be vary about dips and humps (and speed bumps) with that ride height.

Thanks Dulan, yeah it's booked in on the 6th of June for full geo set up over at Revolution in Newcastle, so it will be bang on for the lakes meet 2 weeks later! Will you have yours on by then?

Front will be getting raised about 5mm later to see what that looks like but I'm pretty happy with the rear height, I'm wondering how it compares to Invexis height because he caught his bumper a couple of times in the Lakes..

Couple more pics during its wash and polish and tucked up again in the garage :approve:

It appears / looks like the drivers side front has more negative camber and looks more tucked in than the passengers side to me.. Not by much but I can notice it.

Does look very cool that low, the rear looks spot on.

I'd be too scared about the aircon pipes and front bumper to drive it, be interested to see what you settle on.

Caw blimey !! I think I've had a moment! ! :) that is soooooooooooo nice ! Please stop putting pictures up - I feel yet another loan coming! I have spent years and years lowering cars but I really want to keep my vee oem but coil overs are in my head for my vee [smilie=icon_cry.gif] ahhhhhhhh !
