Caw blimey !! I think I've had a moment! ! :) that is soooooooooooo nice ! Please stop putting pictures up - I feel yet another loan coming! I have spent years and years lowering cars but I really want to keep my vee oem but coil overs are in my head for my vee [smilie=icon_cry.gif] ahhhhhhhh !

Haha sorry Craig, I'm also a massive fan of lowered cars, only the cost of the KW's has stopped me doing it sooner! But even from my brief drive home I can see these will single handedly transform the car!

Praise the lowered

Epic Colin, a long time coming!!!!!

Indeed mossy! Your cars been the inspiration all along mate

Yep... Spacers on ill all those pics, but as I said the camber etc may be all messed up.

The fronts could also take 15mm spacers easily, even at this height.

That's deffo lower than mine at the front. With your 15mm spacers is there room for much more on the rear? I have 19mm sitting here.

Got a link to your hub centric 5mm fronts?

Hi Iain, out of interest did yours settle at all after a week or 2 driving around, like will it get any lower like normal springs do??

I'd say your 19's will be fine on the rear, it's certainly nowhere near scrubbing, and you could also dial in a little more camber if it was close. I thought 15's would look pretty wide but it's not very extreme at all.

You can find the 5mm H&R ones on the larkspeed site, under clio mk2 5 stud... There is no tramlining or adverse handling with them at all, some with 15's on the front say the tramlining is awful.

Oh blimey - if you at Kimbo I'm gonna cry - just lovely! I did put spacers on my phase 1 and it (to me) transformed the look - I have had it in my head that my phase 2 MUST stay oem but I have noticed the wheels are slightly tucked under - I know I will get lots of vee's to look at at Kimbo but Colin could u post a picture from rear showing alignment with bodywork when you are bored ;) also the details of spacers you have front and rear . My car will have a yearly service in December and will get Scott to sort it but would be nice to have info and know they fit with no problems [smilie=yay.gif]
A very big thank you in advance !

Unfortunately I'm not at akimbo (can't get it off work too easily) so your safe there! You should get yourself along to the Lakes meet though, stunning roads, amazing scenery and top banter at the dinner and evening meals  21 vee's cruising around is a sight to behold :approve:

I will get some pics that you request in around 4 weeks because I'd rather show you how it looks once it's 100% set up correctly, a Saturday is their busiest day hence the delay in getting booked in. :(

No problems with spacers on the rear as far as I know, certainly no issues on mine at all, some people on here have put 15's up front and reported amazing looks but detrimental handling, again no issues with 5mm on mine, just drives like standard :)

Did you get longer bolts from Larkspeed too? Did you bother on the front with it only being 5mm?

Yeah longer bolts all through larkspeed (no lockers though, chose not to bother) they sell Grayston bolts, M12x15 60 degree tapered, fronts are 32mm threads and rears are 39mm threads.

Standard bolts are only 25mm thread so I have allowed the width of the spacer on top of the standard thread length.

Colin - I understand nothing of that - I will have a chat with Scott !lol ! Shame - no - thank god you not at Kimbo !! ( I mean that in nicest of ways !!! ) trouble is there will be a few vee's there with upgrades that will make mine - let's say " inferior " in my eyes anyway! ! ;) u lovely people keep doing these things to your vee's and I can't till I clear a small debt On my vee ! Debts before splashing out - lol - anyway - Colin - awesome mate !!

Thanks Lee! :)

Raised it 5mm on the front and it seems a nicer height, I know 5mm is nothing at all but at least there is air between front tyre and arch now lol.

Could someone with a standard height phase 2 please measure from the centre of the front bumper lowest point to the ground?? I have 102mm of clearance at this height.

I measured this on Shaun's car once, standard is 124mm.

Looks great in the new pics Colin!!

On mine if you take the screw into account it's 123mm so Duncan obviously is correct (no doubt Duncan - just thought I would confirm it :salut: ) my drive may have a slight curve to it so I would take Duncan's measurement ! Spot on ;)

Thanks duncan and Craig  A good answer is never far away on here!

I didn't take into account the screws so I'm probably right on 100mm from the screw. Would have been 95mm originally. So i think at this height it shouldn't present too many issues. Not even an inch down from standard.

Would be interested to hear mossy / Ali's bumper height.....
