One guy who might fit your bill is Richard at Dryclough Lane Garage, Halifax. He owns a vee and a few other Renault gems and highly rated with 'us up North'

There is a RenaultSport specialist based in Malpas, Cheshire
Really sound guys & very knowledgable.
I've taken my V6 there for servicing.

Cheers guys - some may be a bit far - should have been more specific! Car is in Lancashire so maybe Blackburn? Blackpool? Preston? Manchester maybe? I suppose it doesn't have to be a specialist as such but someone who could spot obvious repaired panels, worn bits etc. though a specialist would obviously know where to look more closely for these cars.

I'm sure Renault Preston had a couple technicians who specialised with the Renault Sport range ( well they did a few years ago)
Might be worth a call.
