no idle- help !

after changing my head and cambelt, my car doesnt idle wen its cold. its only after 10 mins of driving wen its warm its idles. its fucking pissing me off. u cant change the idling on valves, any 1 got any ideas . cheers

Sure you havent skipped a tooth on the timing when putting it all back together?

check your ISCV mate maybe its sticking wen cold and ok wen warm. it controls the idle speed by the amount of air into the manifold.

yes if it stuck in a position when it was hot, then it will only be ok when its ok. If it was stuck when it was cold it would idle high as hell when hot but ok when cold
