No Club attendance at Kimbolton 2022

The club has been invited by the organisers to attend the Kimbolton Classic Car Show and Country Fayre on 10th July.
The FIA have even moved the date of the Grand Prix at Silverstone to avoid their usual date clash with Kimbolton.

However, enthusiasm for this event has waned in the club and attendance has shrunk.
I feel that if we can’t show what a strong club we are then it is better not to turn up.

I plan to advise the Kimbolton organisers that we will not be attending in 2022.

If however if I am deluged with people saying want to attend, I will gladly change the plan..
Let me know by 01 March if you intend to attend. A lot could change between now and July so an “intention” is sufficient.

I personally think that Clio V6 owners should aim to commit to one annual meeting event and build from there. The Classic @ Silverstone has been earmarked…

It’s worth noting that it’s perfectly plausible to sneak into Kimbolton under the umbrella of another club. It is a cracking event.
