Someone's gonna get a lot of car for not much money. All the best with the sale

True. Might be a good buy for some of the new members looking for one. :approve:

Hi Guys

I'm still not home yet, and might be delayed until January now.

I'll let all interested know as soon as I'm home and car is ready for a viewing. Lots of interest so far!

Many thanks
Phil

Hi Phil, have you bought an RS3 yet or are you waiting until your vee has sold? I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts if you've test driven one. It's not had great press reviews but I'm still drawn by them!

Cheers
Dan

Hi Dan, no not yet, but it's in the pipeline. I'm really not in the slightest interested in press reviews or anyones opinion on here about them. I might drive it and hate it yet? I might even wait until the depreciation has scrubbed off that large price tag. I'll let you know what I think about it when I drive it though.

I'm finding it hard to part with it, and considered keeping her. But time to move on....

Thanks again, maybe it is too cheap, but I always think that the buyer decides the price anyway? Once I decide to sell, I dont want it sat around for weeks on pistonheads. I'd rather just someone come buy it at that price, with minimal hassle and enjoy the car like I have.

I know what your saying Phil.

The car sounds absolutely lovely and has the "must have" seats in it, there isn't many for sale at the moment so stick to your price and don't be haggled :)

SOLD.

Thanks for all the emails and interest. One buyer was particularly keen to view the car before I had chance to properly advertise it.

I will miss her....

It's all good!

I'll always regret selling it, but never owning it. Still the most fun car I've ever driven...

I hope i'm not back because it means I'm making a mistake selling it!

Sad times Phil, sorry to see you go, whoever bought this car has a goodun, you've poured a hell of a lot of time and money into this car. All the best, hopefully you'll be back again in the future!

RS3 is very impressive...I liked it...But i couldn't justify 37k for it when the M3 was just as good, and quicker/ more room in the back for 27k (Granted RS3 was a year newer!)

Worth trying the C63 too...I'm still between the Merc and the BM just now as a replacement for mine.
