The fact it's a V8 means its fully balanced so that should help, but yeah

what solid mounts? The cardboard templates directly onto the existing rubber engine mounts.

Although 6mm sheet might seem a bit OTT

12mm plate used on some trucks and others have 4mm for the same engine, seird sometimes.

didnt notice the tiny rubbers in couple of them but in the 2nd gearbox mount its noticeable well spotted captain
