New to Renaults, not new to classic cars

you wont be able to keep me away... I always dreamed of owning a convertible, no idea why considering the country i grew up in, never had an idea what kind of cabby i wanted but then along came my love affair with the chamade so eventually I combined the two loves and it manifested into that of the cabby. No question though all 19's are beautifull

Not yet lad. I am just finishing of my newly built garage, installing the 2 sissors lifts tonight hopfully and putting the rollor doors on next week. Once that is done the car will be in there for a few weeks getting her 100% original. she is good now but i will have it flawless. Looking forward to it, i'll buy another cheap car to drive for the few weeks its being restored. I'd hope to not spend any more then 1000, wheels restored 120, respray the bonet bumper and wings(all stone chips) 400, get teh standard ehaust? standard airbox? standard radio? standard shock and springs? I hope to get some parts on here and good old reliable E-bay so it wont be that bad. I'll post pics along the way. Just need to get the garage up and running to start bringing in the money to pay for the restore along with my 85 RS turbo. Two rebuilds then on at the same time. I must be mad or have lots of many,, mad i know i am, lots of many i know i dont have..

sounds like good progress to me, it'll be a right set up there when youre done. Tried to do a bit of work myself today, removing that "bad boy" abomonation thats on my black car and repairing the bonnet so she'll lock stock, stock is really the way forward aint it? Replacing the bumpers on her too then she'll be back to standard and ill be happy...

yeah when you start on the ph1 definitely throw together a project report in the project section, really looking forward to seeing your progress on this badass.
