New front headlights

Hi guys - I need a new pair of front lights for my phase 2 - any suggestions as to where cheapest place to buy ? I presume they are standard items ? [smilie=thanks.gif]

Update - I have found a local chap who will bring them back to new for 120 all in - I may get a glass correction done as well but will wait till monday

You can buy kits to restore them for around £30. It's not that hard once you have the right gear.

Dal.a - Yeh been there - it's poo !! I didn't use the wipes as the finish after the pads was so bad ! I presume the wipes dont make it any better!

Lol. They just seal them as far as I can remember.

At least you know they are gonna look perfect once done.

I found someone even more local so next Monday bumper off, lights out then off for treatment! Apparently they come back like new ! Will be interesting to see them ! Will post up once done [smilie=yay.gif]

My car is back home [smilie=yay.gif] My god - he said they would look as good as new and he was right ! He found a couple of broken brackets on bumper and clearly it had been repaired but well repaired it's now back on drive looking fine and dandy total cost for removing and refitting bumper and lights and refurbishment of lights £128 [smilie=yay.gif] well worth it just need Scott to sort my pods now and I'm sorted [smilie=yay.gif]

Sorry-no before shots - unless I can zoom in on some pictures I have on my laptop ? But if rain not forecast tomorrow I am cleaning it - I will take a couple of picks after clean and post ( I can't do now as car is dirty - no one like picks of a dirty V6 Clio )

I got to say - I get used to seeing my Vee every day - I just looked out window to take a look , it's been away for only one week but it looks like its been away a year ! It looks bloody superb even though it's dirty ! I get so used to seeing it it is just my car but in only a week away seeing it again is like when I first got it ??? Is it me who is weird ? I can't wait to clean it [smilie=yay.gif] I consider myself lucky to be a keeper of my Vee :bow: next week it will be back to being "just my car" if I could afford it I would just get something done just to get that feeling again !! God I'm sad !

OK just cleaned I've been trying to upload two photos but I can't get my new HTC M9 to take a photo in small enough size so I can't bloody do it ! Ahhhhh ! 1 hour trying different settings on phone ! It will let u do video in low resolution. But not photos ! U will have to take my word for it Sorry.
