New Exhaust??

Looking at buying a new exhaust, i know K-tec and janspeed do one.

who's got an aftermarket one and which is best??

Most people on here have got a Quiksilver one, there is two different types a standard sound (still loud) or a OMG version for the hard of hearing.

Do a forum search on Exhausts should bring up a fair bit

Currently waiting for quicksilver to get back to me. ie quote and items. E-mailed them earlier.

Dont want it to load, dont want to drown out the sound of the sweet V6.

Just had the new style K-Tec one fitted to mine. max noise 96db with the back box on standard exhaust and manifolds and doesnt drown out the engine noise

I was thinking more towards the k-tec back box.

Wanted to get a feel from everyone else really.

No its the one that still fits through the standard bumper & precut holes, it just that k-tec have changed the design slightly from the first versions they made, which has improved the hangers for the box and also changed the silencing properties slightly to make it a bit louder

this is the best compromise box on the market,and the cheapest,good quality to boot.noisy but no reisenance.

MillTek are now looking to produce one - they have a great reputation for Audi/Veedub systems...

I had a MillTek on my E30 M3, great system but had problems with the middle box splitting! And i wasn't the only one either.

Miltek have got good rep with the FRS boys on the RS Owners Club. Quite a few running the full Miltek systems with good gains

I like my QS "standard" system.

A work of art IMO. Great build quality. Sooooo shiney!

And I think she's maturing nicely. She pops and bangs like a good un!

Has anyone tried the Orbisound one? Not cheap, but supposedly one of the best. As used by RenaultSport in France.

the new k-tec back box pops and bangs just the same as the quiksilver,sounds 9.5 out of 10 from outside like the quiksilver,but has none of the pain from inside like the quiksilver,and is just as well built and nearly half the price of the quiksilver.
