Finally got my new front discs fitted that were made by APEC for the ph2.
as you all probably remember these were made to a request by another forum member as a cheaper alternative to reno stupid prices, have had them a few months now but only just got aroundtuit.
fitting was easy, they fit perfectly and feel just as good if not better than the std ones. i have gone for EBC "red stuff" pads and the whole job was less than £200, BARGAIN!
will let them bed in for a few miles, poss 50 or so, and report back. (about a years worth of miles at my rate).
one point i have made in a post before. caliper guide plates were corroded up to feck. bolts a nightmare to get out, if a main dealer had done this i wonder if they would bother taking these out to de-corrode?? it took me about 3 hours just to get the screws out! this is the second set i have seen in this state and both are quite low milage.
