New Corbeau Bucket Seats

I made up my mind and decided to fit these in my Clio.

I have to say I'm very pleased with the look and feeling of these value seats. They are less than 10kg each so much lighter than the OEM ones as well. On the other hand they are sitting as high as the standard ones due to the badly designed OMP subframes mainly, they are not level and some nuts and washers had to be fitted in order to get the seats straight, I will get this shorted soon. They look great, just dont think they would suit the Ph1

Not sure about washers etc, can see why there not FIA approved then lol

I can see the appeal but somehow I think a Vee deserves better... particular as Tredlines/Sportster CS/Pole positions look sooooo damn good with clever subframes.

Yes I don´t think they would suit the PH1 as good as the PH2. The problem with the OMP subframe and washers has nothing to do with the Corbeau seats, I´ll get this shorted out.

To be honest the seats are by far much better quality than the price suggests. The car is with Scott now if anyone wants to see them.

Thanks for posting some pictures. How are You going to solve the high sitting position?
I'll take the subframes out and modify them. Basically cut them and weld them back to the correct size so spacers won´t be needed anymore. I'll also make an extra hole in the side mounts to be able to screw the seats a bit lower.
