Need to turn of motion sensors on alarm

As per title I need to turn off he over sensative motion sensors on the standard alarm in the PH1. I've turned the engine off, removed key, put key back in, turned ignition on/off 4 times. Then turned engine over/off position 4 times. apparently after this when I lock the car I should hear 2 beeps from the alarm. well........mine did 4 beeps, what does that mean? I could do with sorting this quick, as its very windy and the alarm is going off very few minutes.

Thanks

Ivan

Someone brainy might know how to help.

I didn't know it had motion sensors as well as the interior sensors. Try covering up the sensors and shutting all air vents.

Can you just lock the doors with the key?

scanned the book.

Thanks James, I'm not sure what the diagram is instructing? can you either turn ignition on and off twice, or insert ad remove the key twice to achieve the same out come?

This is the first bummer of owning a Vee. I live on a fairly busy road, so I will need to find a perminant solution to this issue

u can turn the alarm off altogether, when the engine is off put the key in the ignition turn it all the way but stop the click before it starts then turn it back to off, repeat this 3 times (without stopping) then take the key out and use the remote to lock the car. It will then bleep (u will hear it easily) and the alarm is off.

The ultrasonic sensors can be turned off by following the procedure stated in the handbook (as per James' post above), which seems to be the same across the Clio Mark 2 range - exactly the same for the 182 Trophy. Never needed this for the Vee but have done so a couple of times for the Trophy to prevent the alarm going off when the temperature drops to near freezing.

I too did not know that the Vee had motion sensors, and if so, how to turn them off.

Thanks for the reply. Motion sensors was my uneducated jargon for ultrasonic sensors, sorry about that. Yes I'm now managing to disable them now.
