think i'll only be there for a few hours and don't want to find myself blocked in by some unknown person who is wandering round the centre etc!

Yes, pick and choose as you wish.

I imagine parking will be like any other car park. I doubt you'll be blocked in Garreth.

I think this will be the case. There was talk of parking according to colour at one point. I'm guessing it will be more like parking per model of car though tbh.
