my ph1 cab sprayed up with the wheels on

I'm just giving my opinion won't pussy foot or sugar coat it for anyone if i see it as shite i'll say it. The clean look reached me 8 years ago when i resprayed my 19 the 1 time. Think i know the standard wheels are 15" i own 2 sets. Would you of liked some smiley faces so it came across less harsh well thats not me.

ok if thats the way you are you cant help it,no smiley faces needed,i had enough of them in 89

car looks amazing.

i'd like to see it with the ph2 1916v rear lights and clover alloys.

i hadnt thought of that but yeah i think youre onto something with the rear lights jr, that could look really good i think

Yeah the ph2 lights are smoked out and have that rounded bit which would suit this car.

dunno if Glen got the idea off me but i put up a thread about painting the windscreen surround black. It looks the business, really glad to see it done out.

I also like the idea of hatch sills on it but aren't they shorter & it'd be a real pig of a job.

ph2 lights a no no, i think it would look good but cant put ph2 lights on a ph1 it wouldnt be right,

i didnt get the idea for the window surround and mirror bases from here, its something i have had in mind for a while as i like the line of the body of the car, and trying to blend the surround with the roof to separate the top and bottom halves of the car

i need to find some smaller/flusher led lights for the numberplate lights, cue replys about putting the plate back where it should be

we have offered up the hatch skirts, its mainly the part that goes under the door that needs triming

It does looks like primer, I think a bigger vehicle it would look less like primer if that makes sense.

The ph2 rear lights would be a hassle as you would need the infill panel to remain road legal and do wiring.

You can buy illuminated plate surrounds

yeah thats what i was thinking too, i mate a small motorized retractible fog lamp at one point which folded back underneath the bumper when not needed but sadly there were design flaws, the motor wasnt protected and got gunked up

jap style fog, he may as well take a sledgehammer to it, it would look better.

Bear in mind theres requirements for light positions.

Respect init!!!

After seeing this i truly miss my phase 2 scab!!! off i go to cry in a corner. My kind of taste and nice color choice!!! I like the grey for my R5 too!!!! Food for thought.

thanks tob, i always liked the photos of your cab/matt black, bright
wheels always a winner and takes bollox to do,

i once had a corsa van hand painted in nato green, some hated it,i loved it, and when it sold i got good money for it

cheers dude got in quite early with the color combo!!! Might have to get the 5 sorted fancy getting back into the dimond circle again. Currently the rx7 is a money pit but a pleasure at the same time.
