MY NEW VEE AND FINALLY SOME PHOTOS

HI EVERYONE. I HAVE OWNED MY VEE NOW FOR ABOUT 4 WEEKS AND LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. AFTER LOOKING AT AN ABSOLUTE PIG THE DAY BEFORE I WASNT HOLDING MUCH HOPE OF FINDING AN UNABUSED CLEAN EXAMPLE. I FEEL I WAS VERY LUCKY TO COME ACROSS NUMBER 56 FROM A DEALER IN BRADFORD AND KNEW I HAD TO HAVE IT ONCE I CLAPPED EYES ON IT. WHEN I ARRIVED HOME I GIVE IT A FULL VALET EVEN THOUGH IT WAS IMMACULATE WHEN I COLLECTED IT BUT YOU ALL KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE WHEN YOU GET YOUR NEW TOY.

I WROTE A LIST OF THE THINGS I NEED TO DO TO BRING IT UP TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. MY FIRST JOB WAS TO REFRESH THE BRAKE CALIPERS WITH A LICK OF PAINT AND SOME NEW DECALS. I WAS VERY UNDECIDED IN WHAT COLOUR TO DO THEM IN BUT SETTLED FOR YELLOW.

MY NEXT JOB WAS TO GET THE ALLOYS COMPLETELY REFURBISHED BUT HAVENT FOUND THE RIGHT PLACE TO GET THEM DONE YET. IN THE MEAN TIME I DECIDED TO TAKE A GAMBLE ON TRYING THESE NEW ALLOY GATORS. I GOT THEM IN BLUE AND IN MY OPINION THINK IT REALLY SETS THE CAR OFF.

I STILL HAVE A FEW COSMETIC THINGS TO DO INCLUDING THE ALLOYS AND WANT TO GET A PIPERCROSS OR BMC TO GIVE THE CAR EVEN MORE GRUNT. IM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE LAKES MEET. IT WILL BE A GOOD CHANCE TO MEET EVERYONE AND SEE ALL THE VARIANTS. LETS HOPE THE SUN SHINES.

Hi mark, as you know mate seen it round town a few times and it just looks stunning! It almost seems like your illiad is a lighter shade than it usually looks!

Yellow calipers look naff! Far too look at not an AP Racing colour. Also please remove the blue trims!

Mark the car looks stunning!!! Love the blue and yellow combination and for some reason the illiad colour on your car looks different and i like it very much, seems lighter. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND IM VERY HAPPY FOR YOU.....AND IF ANYONE IS ASKING, YES I FELT LIKE SHOUTING TOO!!! [smilie=yay.gif]

p.s. Took your advice was patient and i finally found one in very good condition (illiad colour),I've put a deposit, and will hopefully be picking up the car next week wohoo! [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

like the yellow calipers, they stand out a treat. not a fan of the blue stripe, but only because i dont think you can beat the standard wheel in standard finish!

not heard the bmc myself, but can recommend the pipercross for a nice bark.
