My New V6

So after a fairly lengthy search I have finally found a V6 for a good price, with good service history, and a few mods to include exhaust and piper induction.

So before you all start ;-). I am a perfectionist, can't help It, its in my blood. So yes, pods will be painted silver, wheels repainted silver, front bumper vents removed, and also carbon spoiler (couldn't of been cheap).

So as it stands, this car owes me 12k, I intend to spend up to 2k over the next 8 weeks getting all the above done, replacement seats, and booked in for paint correction.

One point to add, I intend to use this car all year round, not left in the garage for months on end.

Couple of current pics, watch this space :-)

4 wheel alignment and 4x new Super Sport tyres @ mates rates :-)

Silver diamond badge fitted

I like it how it looks now! Don't blame you for returning it to standard tho and sounds like a bargain price.

Well it's taken me 3x nights to get the paint this far, best I'm going to get it now, all sealed so will look good for some time.

Pleased with the results, paint is in really good nick.

New rear badge set on it's way, just trying to sort out the diamond. Wheels refurb booked, just trying to sort the pods now, tomorrow spoiler comes off.......

Great work!
Personally - I'm a fan of the black theme... but understand that that OEM is favoured by the majority (and helps residuals!)
My advice is that if you're enjoying Vee ownership then all the styling misdemeanors can be corrected over time. Don't rush into changes for the sake of it - enjoyment of ownership is king.
: )

Coming up well mate and GT turbo in background of last shot too. Where you sending wheels for refurb? Going back to Oem silver?

I like the black but can't be done with the constant cleaning, drivers me insane. Pods and wheels will put back to standard along with badges purely as it sets off the bodywork better. Hard to describe what i mean.

Have you though about also purchasing 'V66 COB' and ' V66 BUN' in homage to the Great British Bake Off...

...sorry I'm being a V66 NOB.

Yes she is quicker than the V6 to ha ha.

TheWheelSpeciaist In Fareham, used them many times and they know I won't take anything other than perfection.

Shot of the R5 if your interested.

I know what you mean. My missus wear black to look thinner (not that there's an ounce of fat on her). Vees look best fat though - so BG fails on that front. Awesome colour though - probably the most menacing!

Looks great Ant, I like it how it is apart from the spoiler but I also think it will look better with the standard pods and wheels, they will really stand out and give it more presence imo.

Ok so new diamond badge for the rear, new clio badge also fitted. Have a new Sport badge to fit but going to wait for the Renault & V6 badge to be delivered on Weds.

Car booked in for paint 1 week Mon, wheels refurb week after.

Spoiler has now been removed and sold within 5 mins. Odd, has people fight over it....
