My MPG

I am sure this has been asked before I have an Oct 03 Mk2 with 13k on the clock it had its 1st service done 2yrs or 12k miles in Oct 05 so correct me if I am wrong this is due again in Oct 07 or 24k miles?

I have a fairly heavy right foot and have not had my car out of the town yet or on a run I am getting about 18 mpg is this normal ?
