My morning drive...

Hello everyone, I thought as the weather is apparently looking to take a turn for the worst over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend I would take the v6 out for a drive this morning and make the most of the remaining dry weather, and I’m so glad I did, even after nearly a year of ownership it still puts a big grin on my face .

I took lots of pictures but here is a small selection:

Thanks, I have that problem sometimes. By the time I have finished cleaning it I've got no energy left to go for a drive lol, but I'm trying to keep on top of the cleaning at the moment so that it doesn't get too bad and I can just use a Quick detailer and a micro fibre cloth to keep it shiny .

I took mine to Silverstone yesterday, then the same tomorrow. Lots of tasty racing cars ! SLS's, 458's, mclarens (9) and what gets a lot of attention as I drive thru the paddock ? My V6 !

Off there again Sunday and I'm sure it's being shown on Motors TV at 4pm

looking good Will and yes, I took #294 out for a drive earlier after a quick clean :race:

On way back home swung past local supercar dealership (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati & Porsche) for a wee look around and a Porsche driver on his way out commented on the humble clio "better looking than most of the cars here" Never ceases to amaze the positive reaction these cars get.

The mk1 still looks great, it's definately improved with age IMO!

As a dry sunny Vee driver only, the last time my car was washed was early December lol

Quick detail spray and some AG srp after that keeps it pristine after each time it's out :approve:

I drove past a VX220 on someone’s drive this morning, it's a car that like Colin said regarding the Phase 1 has grown on me with time :approve:.

It would be good to get your Phase 1 172 and my v6 together, in the 45 minutes or so I spent on that particular small stretch of road I only saw about 3 other cars and 2 walkers lol.
