yeah ano its done fantastic, but I think that bit extra power has just finished it off now, ive had abit of an expensive December just got car back from snapped studs on turbo downpipe too

If it makes you feel any better i've just chewed through my uprated clutch on the 21 and now i'm on to a thousand quids worth of super uprated twin plate. Ouch.

My own fault mate, 4wd, bags of midrange and launch power, and using it to launch at about 80% (ie not full throttle rev limiter sidestep but very aggressive) uphill at Shelsey Walsh after a hard year on track including Spa and Nurburgring.
Looked and sounded ace, took off like a scalded cat, at the cost of emptying my wallet. Again.

You can launch the r26 hard. Dial in 4k and sidestep the clutch. The diff locks and you really shoot off.
I put in a helix / ttv combo on mine. £1300 later ...

Quality after market goodies aren't kept in-country and with our current exchange rate we are really suffering currently; the frenchies are only recently getting a large driver base to compete with vw etc, especially the RS models have been fairly scarce compared to other hot hatches, but may be turning here.
Due to my warranty I am unable to tinker with her just yet anyways, we do have a local RSTuning guy and a bunch of tuners who have had good results here too

abit of an update of the meg, the engine has decieded to die in an extreme style, big end bearing failure which caused all four pistons to slap and bend every valve a smash the cams up too only surviving pieces are block and rods, looking like an oil surge to one side thats caused it partly my fault for not keeping a check on the oil, but doing that has done the turbo too. Getting another engine a turbo this week so all been well be back in a couple of weeks

no mate no signs of det just my fault for not checking oil levels etc with abit of hard driving

Another update after the engine failure, I got a complete second hand engine and turbo fitted, now running sweet as a nut Also, temporarily sprayed my alloys red to see if I like it and I do so going to get them powder coated the same colour at some point

Bit of an update got the car on a rolling road today to see what power she is running after the map, bare in mind not had 630cc injectors fitted yet, it's running 252.2bhp and 272.4lb-ft torque, I'm quite chuffed tbh especially with the torque figure

Well hopefully picking my meg up Tuesday after the second engine decieded to lose compression in cylinder 1 + 4, so engine number 3 been fitted but with forged rods upgrade. Hoping to get my hybrid, 630s and map done at end of year or early next so I'll keep updated.
