Finally got the chance to put them side by side at work today, sun was out
so made the most of it. Sorry about the attempts to be artistic...more autistic I guess?
And one of my last Meggy R too just for good measure.

Loving the Clio 200's no.plate!

Think it's the V6 but the R26R would get my vote for the 'fun drive' out of a weekend!

top cars - a true Renault sport top 3 garage! :approve:

Absolutely stunning, is the R26R yours also mate? (The title say's "my 2 toys"?)

And yes the number plate on the 200 is a nice touch :approve:

Thanks guys - Its true I am a compulsive R Sport OCD addict official. To answer your questions. The R26R was mine last year.
Got bored, sold it. Then bought another one this year in pearl white - now sold that too. Lunar grey one shown above.
The R200 does not come close to the .R tbh. I love the clio for what it is - great all rounder that can seat the kids
and go round a track all day. You can drive it flat our everywhere as its not that quick, and it handles really well.
But the R26R....OMG. It really is a baby Porsche GT3...really direct steering, you can feel every groove and rut in
the road, great power and no wheel spin thanks to a proper LSD. Amazing sounds from the exhaust. But..day to day
the seats and harnesses are a pain in the arse, you worry that some twonk might push the plastic windows through,
and those tyres are lethal in the wet.
In the past 20 years I have now owned 2 Renault 5 Turbo 2s, 2 Renault 5GT turbos, 3 Renault 21Turbos, a Clio Williams 3,
2 Clio 182 Trophys, Clio V6 230, 2 Clio V6 255s titanium and now this illiad one, Clio 197 F1, 2 Clio 197 Cup, 2 Megane R26.Rs,
Clio RS200 Cup and a Clio RS200 FF.
Some say I have wasted my money...I say some people sniff £500 up their nose each month...each to their own [smilie=thanks.gif]

Legend!

Sad to say that when I owned my Turbo 2s digital cameras were not around. I will try and scan some
old photos at the weekend just to curb your addiction. Cannot believe the prices people are trying to
sell these for....I paid £12000 for my first one from Radbourne Racing in Wimbledon, and then I bought
my last one at Goodwood back in 2001, again paid around £12k,,,,now they are out there at £30K plus....!!!
