Movies

the action was poor as well rambo 4 had better action.

in all honesty the best thing about it was terry crew's gun!

i saw it in the pics and i also have a decent copy of it so I suppose its not that bad...

willis and arnie had no place being in it just a waste.

yeah they were just there for names sake, that guys gun was actually one of the best movie guns i ever saw, went to the cinema for the first time in about 10 years to see that movie, worth it just for the sound off that gun, not to mention the body splitting effects from it

Watched the Town at 12pm, with 6 others in the cinema. The film opens with a robbery and i knew it was going to be a good one from then on not least because of the reviews.

It has good pace and doesn't give you that i saw this coming feeling when the plot unfolds. The characters are all believable and develop through the story without making you think that either the cops or the robbers are the good/ bad guys.

Thoroughly enjoyable. It would be as enjoyable second time around which surely is a compliment.

Anybody watch 'This is England' on film 4 the other night? Thought it was real good.

And seeing as there's a good mix of preference in here, i have to admit to being blown away by 'Avatar' in 3D. So good i went to see it again the following weekend!

Also since we are getting this thread going again.

I watched Mr brooks with Kevin Costner and William hurt as his ego.

I have to say it was excellent! It has quite a few well know faces in it. Basically a guy is rich and has a lust for killing folk.

Highlight of the film for the mrs was me saying 'Courteny Cox looks different' and her replying 'thats cos shes Demi Moore'

Never saw the extended version, just the original, twice. Still loved it though.

I'm a bit of a closet (not any more ) Tom Cruise 80's era fan..

Top Gun, Cocktail, Days of Thunder etc.. Could watch any of those any time, anywhere, with anyone. 8)

this week i saw:

Outlander

Daybreakers

Valhalla

Soul Men

All ok nothing special, not like Avatar 3D

The facebook film is supposed to be good but i'm happy to wait for dvd theres not much point in seeing that in the cinema really

ah just checked it, lead actor bernie mac and isaac hayes who appeared in it both jobbed out the same week after it was made

Sunday just gone, the girlfriend and I watched 'The Hot Tub Time Machine'. Sadly it was not as funny as the trailor and was a bit of a let down but worth a watch once I guess.

just watched Remember Me, enjoyed it, sort of a chick flick but i enjoyed it nonetheless

How I forgot this I don't know.

yesterday I watched toy Story 3. Was pretty good. Worth a watch, quite amusing.

Also at the cinema seeing harry potter I saw the trailer for Tron. Looks excellent.
