well I have been baby sitting the last few days due to a death on her family.

So when the babies nap I watch movies.

Outlander 2008/9, what a load of crap, a guy from another world crash lands in ancient norway and brings a 'dragon' thing with him. garbage, especially amusing was a gimp trying to be jack sparrow. Avoid 0.01/10

The 39 steps (1959 Kenneth Moor version) not bad, I recognised a lot of the various locations used. 6/10

Starship Troopers Marauder, oh dear, the first film was good in a cheesy way, the 2nd crap, the third horrendous. Avoid 1/10

The Condemned, stone cold steve austin is the main plank of wood, however its not bad, like a cross between running man (awesome) and No Escape with Ray Liotta. It was so crap it was good, 5/10

Pandorum 2009. I had no idea what this was stuck it in thinking a kids movie or something. Well turns out its a cross between event horizon (good) and Dead Space video game (good). Dennis Quad stars as do some other people. Anyway I thoroughly recommend this, good bit of sci fi, could be better but the best sci fi in a long time IMO. 7/10

Have watched lately

From Paris with Love - Good well bad actually shoot them up. same old boring story. Nice bit of gore and violence though 4/10

Invictus - Boring as shit . Bet it wins loads of awards though 3/10

Green Zone - Excellent film. Shows the fu*k up of how USA went to war. But good footage and action 9/10

Alice in Wonderland - Awesome. Not a young kids film. Think it would be better watched stoned but effects are excellent and Johnny Depp is great 9/10

out of the listed i have only seen Alice in Wonderland, i wasn't blown away by that.

I really liked The Blindside which is one to watch with the little lady

Open Range also quality righteous cowboy movie (Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall vs Michael Gambon)

Still haven't seen Hurt Locker as it is always out at blockbusters!

Had to watch Man On Fire (The denzel washington remake) again for college the other day, nope im not in college anymore, long story. But all in all its a classic film i gotta say. Much prefer it to the original

This Saturday 1st May at 11pm on film 4 they are showing a Spanish film I have recommended on here before called Timecrimes.

HIGHLY recommended.

Dont go and read a synopsis before watching it, it will probably ruin it.

Oh, and I dont agree about Outlander.

Sure it's nosh, but it's quite slick nosh and delivered exactly what I was expecting.

As for Pandorum, now that was poor. Derivative beyond belief. I started fiddling with my laptop halfway through, it just couldn't hold my attention.

i cant watch any new stuff as im stuck in the past but i do recommend donnie darko, NOT THE DIRECTORS CUT (its shit), but the original theatrical release.

i enjoyed it alot...didn't know it's a remake.

Saw The Joneses in the cinema on Sunday. Predictable, a good idea for a film though.
