On the HBO series box set theme i've watched Rome (series1 and 2) over the last week. Quality, much better than Spartacus.

Staying on the HBO theme - Mals, have you seen The Wire? Fecking brilliant.

For comedy there's Curb Your Enthusiasm, which I also love.

I have all the series of the wire so far to watch, I just can't be arsed.

Curb your enthusiasm is as funny as dysentery mixed with aids and malaria.

In fact watching it right now, Madagascar, not the film the David Attenburgh documentary.

Really good so far.

Watched Lost in Translation last night.

It was ok, all it really did was confirm that Scarlett Johansen is one fine exampel of the female species and I would totally destroy that. :lol:

I still can't believe she is pregnant to Sean Penn!

Schindler's List on Saturday. I am convinced this was a different version to the one I watched at school in 1995, this one had swearing and breasts.

Downloaded off torrent to my Humax box, played like a dream!

Watched the next 3 days, was pretty good. better than I expected. Basically a guy breaks his wife out of prison blamed for a murder she didn't commit.

Watched Drive Angry, wow, terrible. Ghost rider but with a car sort of.

saw the new planet of the apes film at the pictures tonight, enjoyed it.

I quite want to see the new planet of the apes film.

I think this new Conan film will be a massive let down, only Arnie can be Conan really.

Totally agree. Conan looks crap.

I do start to feel pretty old when they start remaking the films I watched 1st time around when I was younger
