That black and gold colour theme are the classic John Player Special racing colours for those in the know.

yup, the days when cigar / cigarette companies could openly advertise on racing cars and F1 cars didnt all look the f'king same.

proper racing, none of this computer controlled crap of today...lol

goodwood revival meeting is a must for classic car peeep's,

i go everyyear..

i mean, how ofter can you see a full grid of priceless cars being driven how they were designed to be driven,

think if i remember rightly on the grid this year in one race there was about 5 ford Gt40's, 5 AC Cobra's, Etype lightweight's, Ferarri 250Gto's etc etc..

it's utter magic, the sound is amazing..

propper reliving the glory of historic Motor racing :)

well, to me that pic looks pretty familiar..... a bunch of vee owners stopped at the side of the road having a group discussion about either how lost they are or where the heck are the other 3 cars that should be with them.......yep, will re create that several times no doubt.

Yhea man. I find it harder to get really enthusiastic about modern motorsports vehicles I love the wild designs and eccentricity of stuff like the Zackspeed Capri and Tyrrell P34 F1 car (even though it was supposedly rubbish).. Manufacturers had no concerns when creating cars like the cobra which was pretty much a death trap for the inexperienced, this is why I love the Vee, specifically the mk1, the design has that 'driver makes do with the quirks' mentality which is what a car's character is all about.

ahh the ole 6 wheel tyrrell, now thats a cool car :)

thats the whole point of vee ownership.

it's not the fastest, it's not the lightest, it's not the most nimble..

but it's certainly entertaining..

but every journey feels like a big event, even if it is to collect the paper from the shop..

and the attention it get's..lol :)
