Looks like I'm going to miss this now folks. The bottom end on our family Saab let go this evening so I'm going to have to fit a new engine over the coming weeks. Pretty gutted to say the least as I've been looking forward to running the 172 at Montlhery all year long. Maybe me and Blake will attend in a wee 1.4 lupo for a laugh but that's he's shout.

Just incase anyone has missed it.. Saturday night is Renault F1 auction night, all for a local charity for children, 'Chloe'. Tickets for this are 25euros which includes a meal.

Guys don't forget you need a breathalyser kit in France although:

January 2013 - the French government announced that the implementation of the sanction for drivers not carrying a breathalyser – a fine of €11 – has been postponed indefinitely.

So theoretically you are still required to carry a self-test breathalyser when driving in France but there is no current legislation demanding a fine for non-compliance.

My car was sparkling until I drove down the M1, m25 etc in the p&ssing rain, now it looks like its been dragged from the bottom of the sea!

I just passed Simon and Co in the Land Rover Support Truck towing liquid yellow!

Haha! Good plan not to follow us Simon, we ended up nr Folkstone last night about 7 miles past the tunnel, looks like you've still got a fair old slog from Maidstone this morning!
