I'm just probing here ! I am building an extension next door to an owner of a brand new AMG MERC 6.3 litre - he drives off to work every morning and I dribble over the scaffolding at the sound of it ! I really want to keep my Vee oem but my god ! Do any people's out there know of a backbox that sounds like that ? It's so low in tone a burbles along ! I no I'm only a v6 but wow ! My boss thinks I'm mad ! Lol ! Any ideas ( I'm only thinking ) with a thought of saving up ! Mine might sound like it (oem) but I can't hear it from drivers seat :race: any ideas guys ?

Unless you want funny money systems, then I really would reccomend Spike's Janspeed for the noise.

Offered my decats up but Craig isn't in to them. It certainly gave a low down burble, almost TVR grunt. On eBay if anyone is interested otherwise they stay wrapped in my loft

Spikes back box is your best bet (allegedly). I have had one fitted but have never had the opportunity to hear it. Lol!

I've test driven a few as in the 6.3 v8 including performance package. Was actually a bit crap eg interior basic no adjustable suspension just big engine - I already have an old e55 and didn't think was worth the big payout to buy one

Then tried e63 performance package 557bhp nicer modern interior switchable suspension gearbox and stuff was a different level but bizarrely cheaper in HK cos it's a bigger car
