Meglio conversion 225 to 197

Hi All,

I'm new here, from South Africa and in the process of a Meglio conversion and 3 questions I have...

1. Is it easier to just use the full Meg 2 wiring (like strip wiring completely from the Meg 2 into 197) or much easier to do loom adaptation (details on adaptation please)
2. How do you get the manual key to work in the 197?
3. Do I need to change the fuel pump?

Just need to adapt a ph2 meg engine loom keeping the 197 fan and starter loom and relay.

Need to have the immobiliser swapped from the Clio ecu to the Megane ecu ph2 is preferred.

It will run on the Clio pump but advise getting an upgraded pump.

It’s on here, look at Dave’s Meglio thread but as I said keep the fan relay and starter wiring, less plugs to change over.

Here we go with the Meglio.

The 197 has so much potential, but ruined by the shite gearbox and ratio's and the scarily common mapping issues with the flat spot and horrific cold start kangarooing. This should resolve all of those complaints and save me doing a belt service too!













No date set for the swap yet, but want it to be soon, in and out, job done.
