Meglio 275 Trophy

Building a Meglio 275 Trophy.
The build took just over two years to complete, as this had never been done before.
There was no one that could answer questions or advice on how to go about it.
Started of with a Clio3 200 body no engine, drivetrain or suspension in the front.
The donor 275 Trophy was a accident written off vehicle but mechanically sounds.
Task to fit the front subframe was a bit of a challenge as the front mounting posts of the subframe did not align with the Clio3 body.
This was over come by grinding the welds off and removing the front mounting post, then milling the subframe narrower where the posts were taken off so I could re-weld them back to match the Clio3 chassis mounting position.
The Ohlins shock fitting was quite straight forward by just fitting the clio shock top mounts on the Ohlins shocks.
Wiring was met with many challenges to shorten, lengthen and move ECU’s around.
Probably the most time consuming part of the build.
Rear suspension is Clio3 but megane hubs with disks and calipers.
On the megane rear subframe there is a spacer that is welded to it. So in order to fit then I had to make a jig to hold this plate I removed from the megane rear suspension and re-weld to the Clio3 rear suspension.
Once welded profiled the holes to fit the megane hubs.
