Megane Megane leaking fuel

So I take the car out today and can smell fuel so after a little look around it is leaking from under the car approx where the drivers seat is. Is there a join here and can it play up in cold weather. Will get the car in the air tomorrow to have a good look but after some info for now so I know what I'm up against tomorrow

the clios have a funny connector just infront of where the drivers seat would be positioned. never seen one leak though i did have one that separated completely and caused the car not to start then empty fuel everywhere.

adey cheers for that can confirm the megane has the same connectors. have had a look this morning it seems the metal connector has rusted and thats where the leek is will have to have a trip to renault tomorrow. was giving a nice spray pattern from the pinhole though :D

well what a bit*h started to remove the old pipe and it sheers off in the connector under the car due to how it is rusted and will not release when pushing the clips and then a Heavey handed moment snapping the connector .

but the main thing is has anyone had experience of changing this pipe as from how the new one looks and where it runs im totally confused . from the top it runs around the back of the heatsheild and i think the abs block can not see much more after that and at the bottom is also very tight. just want to know is it any easier if i had the car on a ramp.

its going to the main dealer near us next week. have done a few of these pipes now and the lads in there are all into there cars and can be trusted. one even has a williams clio and if i go there in the 5 to order bits its not long before they are all out. price is not to bad ether one renault specialist quoted me best part of £600 and im supplying the parts.
