RE: '98 Coupe, 2.0 16v.

Hello.
Since getting a water leak into the area where the sensor is, my cars been getting ever trickier to start. It does work still atm, but I sometimes have to exercise levels of patience that noone should have to endure. Can I bypass temporarily?
What about a cheap long term solution? Can I get a new/used sensor and PCB, and get it aligned to my key? Please help. Thanks...

It can be by-passed by the button on the dash that lock's the door. you need the code. then enter the code via that button. That will work if you get stuck.

you need fix the water leak first or your wasting you time I can get you the code if you need it Just drop me a PM with the code found under the key and the vehicle type
