Wanted Megane 225...

Had a good look around, test drive...
Agreed i will get back to him tomorrow...

I think its had a minor knock on the front passengers side (inner wing, structure looks good) however bumper slightly out of place as is wing - I think it only needs to be realigned.

The body work is straight, clean and dent free.

Engine is bang on and gearbox is fine.

Full scorpion exhaust, remaped at K-Tec with a rolling road print out of 251bhp at a locally rolling road.

Belts have been done, FSH history, but in need of a minor service, front pads and 2 rear tyres. All wheels need repainting, stickers removed....

I think I am going to offer £3,300....

@Chris Smith the bumper has inserts and it will have popped off. Easy to fix and realign.

The decat is a PITA arse to fit. 4h + from guys that fit them all day every day. Get it remapped if you fit.

Ferrodo ds2500 are greats pads.

Tyres : I would get michelen ps2 , or federal rsr595. As Its a 225 ( I assume its not a cup ? ) it will have 225/40/18 tyres. There are cheaper than the cup / r26 equipped 235/40/18

Buget for a FMIC , lots of chinese ones about and they range from not bad to Steve Wonder welded this. Cores are good though.

Window regulators are prone to failure but drop me a message and I can guide you through an easy fix.

Hope you enjoy it.

I quite fancy the diesel version. 175 dci I think.
Seem to be holding there price well compared to the petrol version

Collected it this evening. Pissing down out tho so couldnt test it, but felt good so far...

Defo in need of new tyres, the current ones fitted are cheap ones and 235/40/18's... Think I may change all 4,..

235/40/18 could be correct fitment depending on if cup or not.

TBH , I run 225/40/18 on the r26 and noticed a sharper turn in

Michelen PS2 are what you want.

Think it may just have cup wheels, not sure tho. There is no other signs of it being a cup(would it say on the log book or was there an cup pack upgrade at the dealer -any visable way off checking)

Agreed with the Michelens, that's what I would get for her :)

Failing that IIRC there is a drain hole at the bottom of the door , in fact 2. They clog up. Do not use anything sharp and pointy so unclog though. It will knacker that channel.
