After reading this forum for over more than 8 years I wanted to register and introduce myself.
I'm Martijn from The Netherlands, 23 years old and an enthousiastic Renault Sport fan. I already owned a Clio RS 172, a Twingo RS 133 and now I'm driving a Clio 197 with some modifications (Clio Cup exhaust, H&R coilovers, 20mm spacers all around, Recaro seats, Sabelt harnesses etc.). :race:
The main reason why I register right now is that I'm in the search for my dreamcar; an Iceberg Silver Clio V6 ph1.
How it al started....
I think I was around 13 years old, not interested in cars, when I first saw a silver Clio V6 ph1 in a dealer showroom which was on the route to my grandma's house. My face was like: [smilie=icon_eek.gif] This was something I never saw before. Such a beautiful car.... Since then I was thinking and dreaming about the Clio V6 everyday. I collected thousands of Clio V6 pictures on my computer, I checked for new movies about the Clio V6 everyday, I collected all dutch and english magazines with roadtests and I checked the sales sites more than 10 times a day to see which cars were for sale.
It was 2013 when I first drove a Clio V6. It was for sale for around 12.000 euros (now in 2015 still for sale for 20.000euros), the condition of the car was not so good so I let it go. Another problem was that I drove around 60.000 kilometers a year. Now 2 years later I live close to my work so there is no excuse anymore not to buy a Clio V6.
So the great search has begun!
