Mark Fish Motorsport Engine

I've been ploughing through all this stuff I have and I appear to have a complete Mark Fish engine..........in bits.......but complete.

Brand spanking new pistons and liners.
Balanced and knife edged crank.
Severely modified heads x 2 one with bigger valves
Baffled sump x3
Severely lightened con rods probably balanced too
And a "believed to be" hot cam but I will have to size them up with some digital calipers.

The sad thing is,it is of no use to me

What is a Marc Fish engine apart from the component list you mentioned. Is a R5 engine? Est BHP

Mark Fish Motorsport were (are) a leading tuning company of racing Renault 5s in the days of the Renault 5 Cup race series, which was supported by Renault.

Initially for 956cc TLs in the mid 1970s, later the 1297cc TS was the designated model.

Regarding your excess parts, I will try to call in soon! Maybe I can use them on a historic rally car project?

Sorry It is a Renault 5 TS Challenge engine 1.3
It came with this car that I have just butchered.There are 2 other engines that came with it the on that I am keeping was set up on a dyno and was putting out 95bhp.Mark Fish appears to be some kind of Renault tuning guru.

Mark Fish is a very nice bloke who tends now to tune / service Clio V6's. Obviously he does other renault stuff too but seemed very knowledgable in the V6 Dept when i quizzed him about various things for mine.

Thats good to know I need to get my timing belt changed next year :cry: and yes I know it going to cost me ££££££££££££
