5 GT Turbo manifold gasket.

can anyone shed some light on a uprated gasket for the 5 gt turbo. finally got round to fitting my manifold and the one off the car has a ally plate on on side with the metal rings on the exhaust side. the one supplied by the local motor factors says its for a c3j but when it was ordered checked twice and have been assured it is for the gt turbo. but the thing is will it cope with the 26psi I run. so need options and quick.

just found the old invoice it was a k tec metal one and no longer listed on there website.

the one for the c3j just dose not look up to the job. has the metal inserts on the exhaust side but just a normal gasket after that. oh well gives me something to do for the next few days

Standard ex gasket is fine (metal one side), probably best off ordering one from renault or use the one that comes in the corteco mellior head set. Not had to replace one for years on the van. The ktec one was just a stock gasket

Yup the OE gaskets have metal one side. They're really quite good. Would recommend you find one
