Mégane Coupé sunroof problem... need help..

Hi Guys...

I recently upgraded (finally) to the new century, and got a nice Mégane Coupé 1.4 16v.. she's running like a dream, and just needs a small bit of tidying, the only major fault is with the sunroof.... it rattles and appears to be loose.. It opens and closes perfectly, and when it's tilted, or fully open, it doesn't rattle at all, but when it's closed it rattles, and I can lift it at the rear a bit with my hand, I'm wondering has anyone encountered this problem in the past? and if so.. is there any fix for it, I am considering trying to find a scrapped one and ripping out the sr, but this seems drastic, but I need to sort it, as it's letting in water, and we haven't had the weather for a leaky car this summer....

Any help, pointers, suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Oh I checked the glass, and that seems to be tight, it appears to be the runners that are loose....

Thanks in advance guys,

Breandán

depends on the problem it could be loose screws (they are torx ones) just needing tightened up or it could be a broken mechanism

The glass itself is tight, I've checked that one, it seems to be the rollers on the back.. the ones that raise the glass... they're only loose when the roof is closed, not when it's open, the mechanism itself is working fine, like the roof is opening and closing with no problem.... could I need a new sunroof...? :(
