Lunch at HEVER- Sat. 9th October 2010

Phil : It's amazing how good your V6 looked darting around in my mirrors, lights ablaze on those country roads. :approve: :approve:

People say these things don't handle.......... Well I can re-assure anyone that in the dry there's nothing wrong with the handling at all, it had the same level of grip as my Cosworth, and better grip than my TVR Tuscan which I wouldn't have been driving into he bends like I was with the V6. (Appreciate that in the wet it will be a different story).

I couldn't agree more. Having not been on many spirited drives with fellow Vee owners, I must say that your V6 looked great at speed on those roads :approve:

Take the vee on track then you realise how much grip you have got and to be honest how little the vee's grip is tested on public roads. In the dry of course! In the wet forget it!!

The other day I was messing around in a Tesco car park in the rain practising starts and launched the vee with 5000 revs on!! No wheelspin amazing!!

Word of warning. The mk2 clutch is made of toffee. If you keep doing that you'll have the engine out for a clutch change before you can say "BIG BILL". ;)

Pleasure James :) Only issue is I am losing clarity and its making my pics look grainy for some reason. :( Will have to investigate further. The first two pics was where we saw the others! We had stopped for a toilet break and the others came out of nowhere!! Taipan shot after them and says he burnt more petrol on those few miles run-in to Hever than the previous 40 miles til that point!! You guys must have been going some ;) Who said the vee was slow

Nas, I suspect your original pictures are rather large and there's quality loss downsizing them to fit our gallery.
