Sorry about the late reply, I've been mega busy! I won't be able to make this one now either. Hopefully will make the next one, even though it probably won't be until spring now.

When Lucy's and mine are back on the road we can have a little mini-meet of IG/RM postcodes at the Brewery to get us through the winter. A quick drive to Epping/Chipping Ongar and have a pub lunch and back home in 20 mins :)

Back to topic, Shaun I am hopeful I can make saturday but will confirm it on Friday.

Just read Lucy's earlier post in this thread! She wont be on the road til spring [smilie=icon_cry.gif] My plan mini-meet is crumbling

Anyone planning on travelling up the A3 from south of Hindhead....... The A3 is closed from the early hours of Saturday morning until early Monday Morning, so looks like it's the M3 for us from the Porsmouth area.

It'll only be me now Shaun. The mrs has found other things to interest her time, mostly shopping with my credit card :s

Convoying down with Nas from North-East London way. Others still welcome to join.

Here's hoping you have a good meet tomorrow peeps :approve:

Just wish it was closer and the vee wasn't sorn'd :)

Well.. the weather held out for us!! :) :approve:

Thanks to everyone that was able to make it to Hever today. Great to meet some of our newer members too, Jim Green, Chris M, Knocker and James.
A fairly quiet meet today by previous standards I think the regular faces will agree. Still a great to catch up with everyone all the same! Nice little spirited drive out too.. lead by Phil, then David and James.. :approve:

Pics to follow from someone else hopefully, as someone forgot their camera..

Anyone up for Christmas dinner somewhere..?? 8)

Really good to meet a great crowd, just sorry I had to head south after the meet and missed out on the "Spirited Drive"............. But me and one of the Illiads had a spirited drive of our own on some great country roads for quite a few miles before we parted our seperate ways (Not sure which one of them it was behind me, i was too busy keeping my eyes on the bends, but a great drive for quite a few miles before I had to turn off).

Please Note : Silver Car was in front of Illiad Car.... ! ! ! [smilie=icon_cheers.gif] So just like everyone told me, silver is faster.....LOL.

Within the next couple of weeks (After I've sorted out the venture guard film...... Or whatever it's called, before i get any stone chips) she'll be heading to the workshop where all the suspension, brakes, running gear and pipework etc will be removed and the underside minted up ready for next years autoglym concourse shows. Will keep updates coming once I start.

I had a lovely day at Hever. Freedom from the whole administration of an event allowed me to have a cheeky wee browse at the cars for once. Be they bonkers modded, nice little quality touches, or completely standard and cherished, each one is a pleasure to see.

James is probably the most patient car parker on earth. Thank you so much for that. :approve:

Before I left, I told the manager that we would certainly be back next year. The restaurant has plenty of room for more. ;)

I'm sure I saw a few cameras clicking today. LINK :)

It was certainly a fantastic meet. Great to meet some friendly new faces and catch up again!

Jim, that was me following you for a fair few miles. That was a lot of fun, and the first time in a while I've really managed to stretch the cornering legs of the Vee for anything more than just a few seconds! Great driving! :race: It was a shame another car pulled out behind me, backing the rest up for a while as it was just the two of us for a while, but everyone soon caught up! ;)

As for an xmas lunch Shaun, I'm definitely up for that! Hopefully the weather will be nice and some of us can bring our Vees! :)
