Lunar - One Year On

Williams

New Member
Well its been a whole year this month, since I bought Lunar 319.
I cant believe its gone so fast!! Anyway, I thought it would be fitting to put some pics up of it taken over the past 12 months. I wont post them all up at once, but over the next week or two. Some you may have seen already, some will be favourites of mine. But i'm just going to start with a couple of the first wash down when I got it home...

A pic of when it first came up for sale, but a Black Gold one 'just' had the edge at the time. That and I couldn't afford a Lunar.. lol This was the first time I saw a Lunar with silver pods... I had to have it one day. :)

Back at mine, and i found a suprise when I removed the yellow plastic rear plate.. Not to mention an abundance of stone chips to the front, no surprises there then!

Next up.. took the car for an in depth check out at my favoured v6 specialist, who gave it a very healthy thumbs up :approve:

Next was to have Ventureshield fitted to my recently painted front end.

First public outing was a very wet and cold Goodwood Breakfast club season finale. I humm'd and ahh'd for ages about going, but was itching to show it off.. lol.

The other good thing is Shaun hasn't been shy about using it and still managed to turn the car into a very good example.

Congratulation for the RWS award - it looked amazing in the photos! 8)
I'm looking forward to the next instalment... :approve:

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone. Here's a few more for you.

Ali.. not paint = lighter and faster. Yours must weigh significantly more these days, respraying it at every calendar event... lol

Oxford meet. v6clio.net would never be the same for me after meeting Nas... lol

Always wanted to see this colour, but had to wait until FCS 2010 to witness it for the first time, and i wasn't disappointed!!

Shaun your car is stunning mate and the colour is incredible.

Keep up the hard work fella :approve:

No Problem Shaun, Its a pleasure to take pictures of one of the best examples off a v6 in the UK. Roll on the next London mini meet! :)

It's amazing how good "Grey" looks on a V6. Any other car and it would look so boring, but on a V6 for me it's the best colour, they just suit it Soooooo well.
