Car is a one off, if it's as good as looks, never bent in any way, never welded, never been apart, never painted, messed with etc etc I'd want 30k........may seem a daft figure but if you wanted to create one out of a poor car look what you'd have to spend to achieve something like it?........not plates dropped in, but whole genuine sections, no extra welds, all the correct fittings and fixtures, no filler, the list goes on, and that kind of work isn't 50 quid an hour
I'm totally against poor souls spending 10-15k on cars that may be poorly restored, and heaps fetching 5K.
If you're serious about letting it go, then put it up high and sit and wait, you can always come down, some people will moan about high prices, but as I say above it's such a rarity, it'll only appear on a Classic dealers website in a year or two at a higher price, it's better than money in the bank so don't be shy, you'll never own one as good, when it's gone it's gone.
A serious buyer will acknowledge its value and pay, launch model, bang original, untouched, iconic model, disagree with me, but prove me wrong?
