Looking for 2 brand new 19 16v Driveshafts, or do any other renault models fit?

2 new wishbones, ball joints, anti roll bar bushes and tracking was done yesterday. Going to replace both my driveshafts for peace of mind but don't know where to find a new pair for ABS models I don't mind if they come without the ABS ring either.

Are F7r Megane coupe driveshafts the same?

Alrite Craig, spotted them but I don't think they have space for the ABS ring. Is that for the non ABS model? If it does have the bit for the ABS ring I will be more than happy to purchase a pair

Theyre the thin non valver ones I think, the 16v ones are thicker they still fit tho iirc

I think you can get both types, thick and thin on the 16V.

You can use non-16V shafts on a 16V but there is a risk of them popping out on full lock I think as they're shorter.

I don't think you need to worry about the strength of thin v thick as the gearbox would grenade long before the driveshafts give up :lol:

Yeah mine were for non abs. The thickness of the shaft were the same as the old ones. Maybe didn't have the proper 16v on there to start with?

To be honest I have taken the fuse out for my ABS because I don't like it so a pair of non ABS 19 16v shafts would be fine for me, it's only when it goes for the MOT it will be a problem.

I'm sure i'll find a pair soon enough...

megane ones pop out on the drivers side. I have used ones, or I did I scrapped a load but you can get them with the other stuff I have aside for you when you next get up.
