Long stored R5 GT Turbo

Hi

We're clearing our late father's garage, where he kept his Renault 5, off the road about 25 years now I reckon. It had an upgraded engine put in, a 1.7 turbo with serial number F2N 3712/C032274 and did about 4000 miles on it before going into storage. I just wanted to ask if anyone could recommend the best way of trying to sell it. Thanks

pull it out and give it a once over, see what condition its in and take lots of pictures. Non original engine isnt too big an issue. see if it starts and then post a for sale advert. might be worth posting pics here first for a rough price or pop it on Ebay with an honest advert and see what it makes.

If you can get it up in the ait and get pics of underneath, and the engine bay that will help you out a lot. If it's really good underneath then it's going to be worth decent money.

Looks tidy , pity it’s not the original engine ,
But a popular conversion back in the day . Are you to sell it as is ? Or getting running and rolling?

Not rotten enough for me.....looks tidy, think I’d give it a pressure wash.
I’ve got many dozens of pounds waiting for the right rot box, so think this one may be beyond my budget.....

Just whatsapp-ing with family trying to remember the history, Dad bought it 7 months old, it went straight to BBR for various bits and bobs, we think (but have no documents) it went to Prima Racing around 1994ish for the new engine. We have no bills to back it up but my guess would be about 4k of the 32k are on the new engine.

Grateful for any guidance on best way to sell and how much to ask.
