London Marathon 2018

So I managed to get in the London marathon this year on a ballot. I have been running fairly long distances for many years but this will be something else. The atmosphere and just the volume of people will be mind blowing.
I'm running for Bowel cancer UK after a good friend of mine was diagnosed just before Christmas and is undergoing chemotherapy at the moment.

Will do Matt. I like to plod on my longer runs and try to enjoy them. Hoping for 4hr 30 - 5 hr mark. But anything can happen on the day.

Did the London Marathon (some years back now lol) and definitely nothing like any other races I competed in. Is a very special event and enjoy it.....well as much as you can

I completed the marathon yesterday in 5hrs 4 minutes . That was around the time i thought but man was it hot and proper tough. Bit stiff today but not to bad.
Great event and great atmosphere.
