Fogs arent broken, its just I didnt press the buttons in the right order.

Press main lights on ( understandable )
Press front fogs on ( what? )
Press rear fogs on ( mmmm okay )

So if you press rears then fronts the rears dont work but the fronts do.

Logic. I saw a window and jumped.

Operator error then!
PICNIC
problem in chair not in car

Driving lamp now changed and as a bonus, it works.

2 left to go.

1) dodgy oil temp
2) aircon

Warranty being transferred over to me ..

I used to dream of aircon on the last euro tour (pre kids lol). When the cabin temp is 43-53deg and Italian epic traffic jams kick in you can smell the glue reminising on its orignial bonding process lol

Same issue at first fuel stop following purchase despite me looking this up

Although I find this method better

Went out to get fuel tonight.

Except the car clunked a death clunk.

Battery goosed?

That was my initial thoughts. Lined up the wife’s mini and reached into the boot to get to the battery.

Noticed a terminal was loose.

So was the other.

I tightened the terminal and TADA. Back to life.

Car is now full of fuel ( 31l so must have a few litres left )

Roll on blyton

I have been quite timid with the throttle so far as the c63 used to slide like crazy when getting on the power early. Literally the front end would plant and the back end want to rotate.

Took it out in the wet last night and dare not press on. The c63 would have tried to kill me.

Nah it dont work like that :) little movie in the instagram link of me putting it sideways. ANy earlier on the throttle and it would have pushed wide . I gave my FF racer mate Ross a go and he was all over the place with it lol.

Having driven rear engines cars a lot on circuit my main advise would be to keep your foot in once your committed and use the brakes just before you turn in to try and transfer a bit of weight to the front - this is very effective once you perfect it. Make sure you have something super grippy on the front tyre wise.

Further good advice Tony, a careful balance with keeping toe in but is my default on track and managing weight transfer key. Brakes as you say can really balance the car and also a healthy stab moves the weight to the front giving good turn in and more progressive rear

lol awesome, back in the days with no kids and little responsibility, a track day a month was nearly the norm! there were a fair few of us there that day too (y)

Remember them all well and some cracking events / regular track days! Imagine I am well off pace nowadays on track :(

Who said kids, houses, work would change anything lol
