log on issue from other countrys

I am in Vietnam and when I try and log onto the site , it says website error ,ip address banned this is not the isp , its the site generating this code ??

I a currently using a vpn to access the site .

any clues @andybond

You happened to log in / visit on the 30 seconds that I was changing something.

If you are in chrome , close the turborenault window , reopen it so it looks just text like.

Then clear your last hour browsing history . That will fix it

Yes , its by design. We had about a million hackers trying to hit us from Vietnam / Thailand / Russia / Pakistan

I blacklisted the countries.

Update of the update Rich - I have enabled SSL all over the site now. You shouldnt have any issues

Well I'm supposed to be training ppl up in Oil & Gas industry, fella, trying to get these folks out of recession) although today I was reminding myself how pish I am at golf...even though I dressed the part with a MJ glove & second hand polo shirt from the local market:

the digs are in Lagos mate, so mainly there also in Port Harcourt sometimes or wherever they want me - offshore/onshore sites. The job is good considering the O&G industry is on it's arse at the moment...better than the rock & roll anyway))

I would if I could mate but I'm usually on the upstream side of things (exploration/production) not downstream (refining), those buggers can't lose - oil goes up to $100+? Stick the fuel prices up high. Oil drops to less than the cost of posh water? Knock a few pence off the price of fuel per litre & enjoy the difference in cost between their raw materials & finished product...

Upstream side just gets production targets & told to 'do or die', a mere spectator here
