Saw some pics recently of this being restored on Instagram a few weeks back.

The black wheels and black/carbon add-ons were very popular circa 2006/2007. (Mars red was resented at that period. Lol!)
I was thinking about doing something similar - but stopped at the wheels.

With T1 and T2 values spiralling upwards - Vee ownership still easily the cheapest way into a MR layout hot hatch. Even at £38k.

When they say 1 former owner of course they mean in addition to the current one . I was the "former owner " back in 2005 to 2007 as this was my company car. happy to see it returned back to a decent condition after the horrors inflicted on it by the last owner.

Interesting point Graeme... I thought the 1-owner was it's USP (as the mileage isn't particularly low for the marque).

This could effectively benchmark ID colours as:
>£30k regardless

Let's not forget that £38k is approx the price this LY would have retailed at (once inflation is accounted for).

Price wise we know that £30k seems to be the upper level for a standard colour with up to 40,000 miles on so they are asking a £10k premium for yellow here. There have been sales of LY at £40k+ but for cars with a third or less miles. But as we know the I.D. colours are coming up for sale very rarely these days and if you want LY it might be at least another year or 2 before the next one is up for sale so.....
As for if it's been resprayed, I think the pics Duncan saw were of it having been painted. Even in the metal, LY panels look different colours depending on the light, as it was meant to be.

Whats liquid yellow like to colour match?
Id love my Phase one doing like that, cant imagine what it would look like.
Horrible i guess as theyre not meant for LY.

My bodyshop have j37 down to a tee.

38k - optimistic.

I would say its worth nearer 30 than 40-

You never know they may find a stupid high roller....

Its worth noting - everything done on the cheap.
Steering wheel is shagged
Seats are worn
Tyres are wrong.
No MOT- expired.
2 owners -

I am tempted to go and have a look at this to see how bad it really is. It would also be interesting to see what the dealer says about it.
